Dr. Michael F. Hnat is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He currently serves patients from the tri-state area at the McMurray location of Pittsburgh Dental Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Hnat brings exceptional knowledge and experience in the fields of dental sleep medicine, TMJ disorders, and craniofacial pain. He completed the prestigious mini-residency in temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA and the mini-residency and his Fellowship Program in Craniofacial Pain through the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.

He holds board certifications through the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and the American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine and Fellow status through the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Hnat is the clinical assistant professor in dental sleep medicine at the West Virginia University School of Dentistry.
